Karen will speak at the Midwest Independent Publishers Association (MIPA) monthly meeting Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 7 PM in Minneapolis. She will talk with independent traditional publishers, hybrid publishers, and author-publishers about the key questions publishers should ask themselves about their books, portfolio, brand, and go-to-market strategy to self-evaluate their publishing programs and effectively seize their best opportunities.
As publisher at Elva Resa and an Independent Book Publishers Association national board member, Karen will speak on two panels at IBPA’s Publishing University. She’ll join other industry experts to discuss The Many Facets of Educational Publishing on Friday, April 5, 3:15–4:15 PM CT, and Selling Outside the Box: Why Special Sales Should Always Be In Your Plans, Saturday, April 6, 1:15–2:15 PM CT.
